Position Overview
As an Early Childhood Educator at Calderwood Christian School, you will report to the Prep Director and play a crucial role in supporting the wellbeing and development of each child in your care. Your responsibilities will include delivering an engaging curriculum using innovative teaching methods and digital tools, while fostering a safe and stimulating learning environment.
This position requires a reformed Christian faith (including an active commitment to a local church) and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, children, and families.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will bring a passion for early childhood education and a dedication to nurturing young learners within a Christian framework.
- Hold a Certificate 3 or above in Early Childhood Education.
- Possess a working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
- Exhibit a commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practices.
As a practising Christian, you will actively contribute to the school community, fostering positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues while maintaining a high standard of care for all children.
