Position Overview
The Secondary Teacher (Maths) plays a pivotal role in both the academic and spiritual development of students in Years 7 to 12. Reporting to the Head of Secondary School, this position involves close collaboration with the Head of Faculty to ensure the effective delivery of the curriculum and the well-being of each student.
As a key member of our teaching team, you will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement, respect, and collaboration. Your commitment to integrating digital tools and innovative teaching methods will enhance the learning experience while aligning with our school's vision and educational creed.
Candidate Profile
We seek a dedicated and passionate educator who embodies the values of Calderwood Christian School.
- Possesses relevant tertiary teaching qualifications.
- Holds registration and accreditation with NESA.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to Christian values and practices.
- Exhibits excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to teach Stage 4-6, including Advanced and Extension would be an advantage.
As a successful candidate, you will be an active member of your local church and demonstrate a genuine care for the spiritual and emotional well-being of students. Your proficiency in the AITSL Professional Standards for Teachers and your ability to differentiate instruction will be key to your success in this role.
