Your Role as Faculty Coordinator
As the Faculty Coordinator for HSIE, you will be at the forefront of implementing a dynamic curriculum and cultivating a positive faculty culture. Reporting directly to the Head of Secondary School, you will lead with vision and purpose, ensuring that our educational framework aligns with the school's mission and values. Your leadership will empower teachers and inspire students to thrive in a Christ-centered learning environment.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced educator who embodies our values and demonstrates a commitment to lifelong learning. If you are passionate about teaching and are eager to lead others in their professional journeys, we want to hear from you!
- Must possess secondary teaching qualifications and accreditation in NSW with NESA.
- Demonstrated expertise in the Australian Curriculum for Years 7-10 and secondary syllabi.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and supporting staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
As a team player, you will collaborate with faculty to promote high standards of pedagogy and curriculum development while ensuring that students receive the support they need to excel academically and spiritually.
Salary & Benefits
This is a full-time, ongoing position (1.0 FTE) with a teaching load of up to 0.85 FTE, offering competitive remuneration in line with the Christian Schools NSW (Teachers) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2023. The role includes a Position of Responsibility allowance (POR Level 1) to recognize your leadership contributions.

Interested candidates are invited to submit a cover letter, resume, and complete the application form online. - Shortlisting
Applications are reviewed by our HR and leadership team. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview. - Interview - Round 1
Shortlisted candidates will participate in an initial panel interview, which will explore professional experience, educational philosophy, and personal faith journey. Candidates will also be asked to complete a task relevant to the role. - Reference Checks
We contact professional and pastoral referees to gain further insight into the candidate’s suitability and alignment with our school’s values. - Interview - Round 2
Final interviews will be conducted with a panel including the School Principal and a member/s of the Board. This stage will focus on theological understanding and alignment with the school’s Statement of Faith. - Offer of Employment
Successful candidates will receive a formal offer and onboarding information. - Onboarding & Induction
New staff participate in an induction program to support their integration into our school community.
