Position Overview
The role of a Casual Learning Enrichment Assistant is essential in assisting teachers and supporting students with diverse learning needs. Working within our broad Learning Support team, this position plays a vital role in ensuring that all students receive the guidance and assistance they require to thrive academically and socially.
In this role, you will work closely with students, teachers, and other staff to implement individualised support programs and promote a safe and positive learning environment.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and compassionate individual who embodies the values of our Christian mission. You should possess a strong desire to support students in their learning journey and demonstrate a commitment to fostering a nurturing educational atmosphere.
- Previous experience in a school environment, particularly in supporting students with varying abilities.
- Possession of a Certificate III in Education Support is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, students and parents.
- Current Working with Children Check and a reference from a minister.
